I am a bit confused about the PDF file -is it saying to torque them in order to 8 and then to 16, or top to 8 and bottom at 16? I think its the first but just wanted to make sure.

Is there anything special I should be looking for in a replacement bolt? I should be able to get a replacement at like ACE hardware right? Should I just replace them all?

UPDTAE: Got the heatshield removed and had a look. The nuts appeared to be on pretty tight. However.... I did find that i was missing a screw on the exhaust manifold. Only one was missing and the others were tight, but do you think i could be getting a leak there? I took some pics. first two...

Hissing from my car sounds to be coming from the other side of then engine from yours. Anyone have any ideas on that?

This happened to me when i first go the car. Would not start after the alarm went off while changing fuses. Found that if you put the key in drivers door and lock it twice, then unlock it twice will let you start the engine again.

Tried watching your video to see if it was similar to what I was seeing from my car.... but it wouldnt load... Maybe put it up on youtube???

Ha. Dang... I tried doing that but after about 15-20 min I gave up in fear of breaking something. what did you use to cut the slit? I have seen some people who ride without the heatshield on their cars. Is it needed? I would imagine it is... but if i did not have to put it back on after...

Thanks for the reply. I actually Tried doing that this weekend, but failed. Finished up working in the yard and had about an hour of light left so I went to it. However.... I do not have a wrench big enough to take the O2 sensor out. (sad2) So, i could not get the heat shield off. I loosened it...
