anybody ever experiment or know of anyone that has cut their springs. What could be the downfall of doing this? Pros? Cons?

i have no idea because it came with the car when ibought it a few months ago. and i will check this as soon as i have some free time. and ill let you know the results

yeah i realize that and yes i have a system, a small one but it does dim the headlights when really turned up, but my problem is occuring at normal operating conditions.

alright well i'll get that checked out tomorrow after work, it would make sense, i guess i'll check the battery too but that seems to be fine, hasn't ever seemed weak.

nopeeee just standard headlights. Even like the dash lights and stuff flicker when i put a slight strain on the battery like using the windows.. its quite strange.

has anyone ever noticed their headlights flicker before? while driving ill see my headlights flicker, i think, either they're really flickering or my eye sight is going out. lol any help would be appreciated as to where i should look for problems. thanks

so say i want to put a k&n filter on my car, the stock intake box has a sensor plug in it, what is this? and if i install a filter where do i put this sensor?

i had the same problem when i replaced the front pads on my bike with ebc pads. they actually warped my rotors. which caused me to have to buy new ones. but its probably no caliper or spring or anything like that, its ebc their quality control has taken a dive and the pads were just manufactured...

it is dumb but i have tried the L brackets before but they bend and sometimes dont hold well. and i didnt know about the gorilla velcro. and you distrubedfan121, you dont need to be a douche about it. i would have figured it out on my own but i just wanted to see if anyone had any better ideas...

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me. I have a single 10'' sub in the back anddddd it kinda prevents me from really taking my car through turns because it tends to roll around, lol. So therefore does anyone have any suggestions of how to lock it down or keep it from moving, other...

problem fixed, back from the shop. the wga was bad. took them 5 weeks to figure that out. even though i told them within the first week that i wanted that checked. regardless it was a free fix for me and now i have my car back.

this happens to me under normal load and normal driving circumstance's. im not trying to make it happen. but its just when im driving.

no i havent done that but if they fix the problem or even if they dont then ill probably relocate it and probably fix the problem myself

sorry for the delay ive been so busy, but its stock boost and stock turbo. stock everything. its in the shop and it sbeen there almost four weeks. (2 different shops) one at the dealership i bought it from, koons used car lot, and then they sent it to the mazda shop who apparently has no idea...

well they replaced both my coil packs and all four spark plugs, now assuming the technician gapped the plugs right, it didnt solve my problem, so now more than a week later they're finally going to send it to mazda speed where someone actually (hopefully) knows what they're looking at and doing.

im not too sure, but the coil packs werent the answer, the car is headed to a mazdaspeed shop today to get worked on. so we'll see, hopefully they'll figure it out. msp1986 do you have the ssafc?
