Poll Who is interested in the MX-30?

Trouble is I DO like the styling. The motor is in the front so what's happened to the boot (trunk) space? There's no fuel tank and no exhaust pipe to take up the room. (Rhetorical question really unless any Mazda engineers can answer).

Poll Who is interested in the MX-30?

Thanks Santa. Interestingly there's no brochure on the UK site and only one trim version. Very poor. How can you make an informed decision to order when the detail is lacking. 366 litres for the boot space which is no good to me and no frunk even.

Poll Who is interested in the MX-30?

Yes, the range is 124 miles (subject to homologation) See https://www.mazda.co.uk/cars/mazda-mx-30/ Also see...

Poll Who is interested in the MX-30?

In the UK there are 500 available for reservation although details are scant about internal dimensions including boot (trunk) volume and will not be available until next year. Surely they know as it has been designed and is in production. Lack of range around town here in the UK is not a problem...

    Creaking noise switching gears

All of my Auto CX5's have done this "creep groan" (good description) slowly going backwards or forwards when lightly applying the brake when maneuvering. Normal brake performance otherwise. I do live in the U.K so usually damp/wet:(

    2017~2025 Video From autoexpert.com.au about 2020 Mazda CX5

He's not exactly a Mazda CX5 hater... He finds the CD display pointless as would I. The novelty value would quickly wear off. For the sake of equality why can't there be a DPF regen display for the diesel? https://autoexpert.com.au/mazda-cx-5

    2017~2025 Video From autoexpert.com.au about 2020 Mazda CX5

You have to understand his sense of humour. It is true that why would you have a graphic of the cylinder deactivation working,or not when there are more pressing matters such as fixing any infotainment system bugs. You should see him hose on Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Holden (as was). Obviously over...

Here's a list of Mazda Voice Recognition Commands

Thanks. I could see that my comment could have been open to misinterpretation, especially the "testing this out in the car" bit. All good:):):)

Here's a list of Mazda Voice Recognition Commands

No, you misunderstand me and I'm sorry If I've given that impression. I should have said "while sitting in the drive" I can test some of the functions. Obviously not the navigation part.

Poll Did you choose the CX-5 over a German SUV?

Dieselgate and the flagrant disregard for excessive vehicle emissions is my reason for not buying a vehicle in the Volkswagen group. (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Porsche - ha ha! Affordability on that one also)

Here's a list of Mazda Voice Recognition Commands

THIS is what forums are designed for :) :) Time to test this out in the car as we're under lockdown in the UK and can't drive anywhere without a very good reason.

    2016 CX5 DRL recall announced

I wonder if he would have said the same thing to the police if they had told him. He's obviously "entitled" not to have the headlights on as it would infringe his human rights otherwise, blah blah etc etc.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Is Mazda's upcoming MX-30 on your shopping list?

110 miles range is not very competitive nowadays. Even a VWeUP can do 165 and that's classed as a city car. Bear in mind that all of these ranges are manufacturers figures so the range is probably less. It's probably irrelevant to me as the roofline in the CX30 is too low for me as my head is...

    Are you waiting for a third-generation CX-5?

To me the new key design looks too fragile. I know you're not supposed to drop the key on to the floor but this inevitably happens at some stage. It looks as though the back will come off the new key and your override key will go and drop into the drain that inevitably exists adjacent to your...

    Lack Of Headroom In CX-30

So, I happened to pass by a local Mazda dealer and tried the CX30 for size. Oh dear, the headroom is not much better than the 3. I'm 6 feet 2 and my head was only about half an inch below the headliner and this was on the seat at it's lowest setting with a reasonable recline. Going over big...

    2019 CX-5 Diesel

I couldn't buy a new 3 even if I wanted one as at 6 ft 2 the top of my head presses on the rooflining even with the seat all the way down with the seat in a proper driving position. If I had to recline anymore my arms would be stretched when using the steering wheel. Perhaps sales of 3's have...

    2020 Jan map available...

Just suggesting that you might wish to check with your library first as the Mazda Toolbox will need to be downloaded to their computer and they might not allow downloads for security reasons? Don't want you to have a wasted journey.:)
