the cold weather backing up squealing is rust build-up on the rotors overnight most likely. the first stop sign going forward probably feels a little "chunky" too, but then you should be smooth and quiet. no?

my white 5 has those little rusty orange spots all down the side, especially near the front wheel opening, and the rear bumper too. i haven't tried claybar yet, but nothing else i've tried works. never getting a white car again.

just to be clear, the fogs will still be turned on and off with the fog light switch, but they will come on when only amber lights are on - you don't have to have the headlights on. and like i said, they will not switch off when you put the high beams on.

no, they stay on with the high beams with this mod. so long as the running lights are on (amber lights) the fogs will turn on and stay on.

i followed those instructions and they are correct.

25.4 today 75% city, 25% highway - 30% a/c useage, slightly heavy on pedal lately.

Thanks again. I wanted it to be wild but subtle. I think I pulled that off. I got the idea from the flat black hot rod they road tested in Car&Driver magazine last month. Soon as I saw the pinstripes on that car I knew I was getting them done on mine.
