That kind of low voltage essentially abuses the battery by causing sulfation of the plates.

I have done some cleaning with a q-tip saturated with cleaner. Just clean around the edge and see if it makes any difference. Maybe it will open farther then.

I have found the seats on the CX-5 to have a thin foam pad with a metal 'pan' underneath. This is good for space utilization maybe but I prefer to add a memory foam 'topper'.
