    Squeak from the engine

    if you spray a little moisture displacing stuff on the belt such as WD-40(thats what its called here) and the squealing stops, then its your belt. Mine does it just as you were describing and is much worse when its raining or there is mosture in the air. Belt may need more tension or need replacing.

    yeah, i tired a knife at first and sliced my hand open. so i sat down and had a think about a sensible way to do it and this was by drilling around the edges to make it perforated like a postage stamp, then i just cut the remaining bits off...muuch safer and easier. Just be careful u dont drill...
