You're right, you've got to restrict yourself if you want to keep your car in prime shape. What I find most annoying is when contruction type trucks pull in front of you with rocks/dirt spilling out of them...it's so frustrating as you hear the stuff hit the paint. Happened to me...

maybe my previous prelude was just loud, but my Protege5 seems extremely nice and quiet even at high speeds. I got my undercarriage sprayed and it's supposed to damped the sound 70% so perhaps this helped remove some of the sound...

I experienced this driving a friend's 95 civic a while back. It was pretty bad...felt like the clutch just coudln't grab and it the whole car would buck like you guys are describing. Now that I know what you're describing, I can confirm that I havn't noticed this in the slightest with my new 2003.

yeah illustrator is definetly the way to go for precision because of its bezier handles. I just use Flash because it's what I'm fastest at. Illustrator is probably faster once you get used to it.

havn't noticed any problems with mine so far..it's less than a week old though

yeah its definetly more annoying. Usually spraying water in with a hose gets leaves and stuff out no problem (I had a deflector on my prelude before i got this car and never really had issues). There's openings in the rubber to let the water out.

i see 10-20 P5's a day...its over the top! I just drove about 3 minutes away to drop off a check and saw 2. I've seen every color many times. The dealerships I went to say they sell about 1 per day....

Export the lines to PNG with a 24 bit Alpha channel at any resolution you want. When you open the image in Photoshop, the lines will be there and the background will be transparent.

thankss....I use Flash MX to do my tracing. I use the Line Tool (N) and the Arrow Tool (V). Step 1: Find a curve you want to trace then draw a line (Press N) from the start to end point of the curve (notice the straight line in the image) Step 2: Select the Arrow Tool (or press V) then...

yeah the rust forms extremely quickly. My car is only days old and after a wash the rotor was coated in rust. A couple stops took the rust away...I didn't notice and squeaking though.

here's a quick 30 minute job I did, still needs color and detailing. I'm gonna do a few more sketches and first and pick the one i like best then try out some cartoon effects :)
