my maf just went bad, tried to start her up one morning and she died. It ran, but couldn't find an idle and didn't know what to do under acceleration. As for others I don't know why ther were using screwdrivers.

i agree, mine went bad a couple of months ago and paid 125.00 shipped from a salvage yard in ontario to cali. sorry to hear about your misfortune i know your pain and frustration. BELIEVE ME!!!

all that has been done to the car is an upgraded sound system and an exhaust. I am going to try and disconnect the ecu's fuse and see if that helps anything. Thanks for the advice I had a feeling it was going to need to be looked at but I wanted to cover all my basis first.

Alright, here's the deal. I started my car this morning and as soon as it started up it died. So I started it back up and the rpm level sits at around 500 in park, sounds like it is in gear almost(really low idle). Anyways, the check engine light is on so I reset the ecu, nothing changed. So I...
