GI for 3" turbo back exhaust

If it's not cast why do you keep referring to it as a casted s-pipe/downpipe then? By the way, attached is a dyno of my car with just a short-ram intake. Beat ya. (nana)

Haltech E6X vs MPI Tuner - Help Choose

Please feel free to show me where I said I proved it was better. My opinion is based on real world results from a variety of cars. Why do I think an an extra injector setup is pointless? Firstly, you're obligated to use it because you're still running the stock ECU -- which we've already...

Haltech E6X vs MPI Tuner - Help Choose

I didn't want to say it before, but honestly in my opinion, an extra injector seup on a Protege is ridiculous, and so is believing MAF is better than MAP -- that's why I'm not buying the 'MPI Tuner.' To each his own though I guess... we all have our own opinions and methods of tuning... (crazy)...

GI for 3" turbo back exhaust

ION is just getting ridiculous... regardless of what they say, without a doubt both systems are pretty much the same depending on how good of a job ION did with their cast s-pipe and custom muffler. This reminds me of the time they said their CAI was so radically unique from the Injen that it...

    how much better?

As long as your fabricator is knowledgeable, tig welds and uses mandrel bends, your custom setup will be fine.

    FS-DE short block

I had no luck in the for sale/wtb section... just quickly wondering if anyone knows of a FS-DE short block for sale, or some place that sells them. I appreciate any help, thanks!

Haltech E6X vs MPI Tuner - Help Choose

MPNick, turboge had nothing but great success with his Haltech. And as you can see, azian6er loves his. As long as you have a knowledgeable tuner, I personally can't think of better bang for the buck. I'm sure your box is fine however. As far as the injectors, it's not difficult to have them...

Haltech E6X vs MPI Tuner - Help Choose

I'm personally going with the Haltech E6X, largely based on turboge's recommendations -- "I think its the best applicable system with complete control available for the MSP aside from the AEM." -- one of the smartest guys in this community IMO. He has an install guide and says it should only...

    FCD Pictures

Install pics wouldn't give away the secret to Joe P.'s FCD design. He actually spent a lot of time developing it, testing different pressure switches and methods to fighting fuel cut. No one else here has been able to replicate it. Maybe there are no pictures because people don't take photos...

STOP USING NGK BKR7E's (idle problems and 3500rpm bogs read me)

I've had BKR7E's in my car for several months now and my car doesn't have any of those problems. Maybe you didn't gap them correctly?

    Emanage Dyno about time

This may be a stupid question, but did you still have to use the inline resistor that comes with the e-Manage?

    Emanage Dyno about time

Did you guys get the timing to work? I am just about to buy a Haltech, but this sounds interesting... The $600 I save can go towards some rods. :D

    my last exhaust post....

As long as it's a high-flow cat it will be all the same. As far as the cat-back, I recommend getting a custom setup tig welded with the muffler of your choice.
