My Thoughts Driving a 2019 GT

I generally agree with you. Maybe another way to put it is that, in my opinion, its a choice between better economy but less power or more power but less economy. In the past this may have been an NA I4 or a larger NA V6. With CX-5 it happens to be a NA or turbo I4 that just happen to...

My Thoughts Driving a 2019 GT

I think it makes more sense to focus on the power and economy of the options vs a specific technology. They could for example use a 1.5 turbo instead of the 2.5 NA. Probably pretty similar.

My Thoughts Driving a 2019 GT

I think the higher maintenance thing for turbos is mostly myth at this point. That may have been true in the 80s (where I believe this opinion was established) but the technology has improved a lot. Sure there are other drawbacks and you cant have the power and efficiency at the same time. But I...

It amazes me that in 10 years....

Yup occasionally it will do something like that as it is really only looking at that small section of windshield. But most of the time I think it works fine [emoji2371]. Maybe your bar for being annoyed is lower than mine. Regarding windshield replacement I believe there is a treatment they...

My Thoughts Driving a 2019 GT

I think most cars performance improves once theyre broken in. And not just the 1k miles. Look at C&D long term reviews. They do the instrumented tests at the beginning and end and they almost always improve.

I think its more likely gen 1 vs gen 2 difference.

I think your car is adjusted to your driving and that one wasnt. The actual difference is pretty small.

My Thoughts Driving a 2019 GT

I dont see the issues with the seats but thats probably very individual. For the power if its not the turbo to me its slow either way. So slow vs slightly less slow[emoji2371].

    2016 GT too many miles?

I dont disagree. We got GT and not tech and I kinda wish we had got the tech package.

    2016 GT too many miles?

Just get it inspected. A relatively young but higher mileage car probably has mostly highway miles anyway which would generally create less wear/tear actually.

Bored with stock Wheels. Turn it to this?

Im not digging the red either. Looks too much like something youd expect to see on a Honda with a fart can and park bench. But like other said its what you like that matters.

2017~2025 Possible issue with BOSE system in 2019 GT Reserve Turbo?

I would say phone alerts if thats your source. Try silencing the phone if thats the case.

    AC works good

Yea I should probably put a light tint on the windshield also [emoji848]

    AC works good

Yea maybe. On my GTI and ST I had previously its basically polar vortex until it cools down (which is usually pretty quick) then it backs off.

    AC works good

I think the problem isnt that the air coming out isnt cold enough. Its a factor of how much volume of air it can move at that temperature. In this respect is where its not as powerful as some competitive vehicles.
