I just used come rubbing compound on my car today. One of my kids ran his scooter handle down the passenger side of my car:mad: It didn't help, the scratches are WAY too deep. Damn...I hate using touch up paint. I can never get it to look right.:(

Not sure about the turtle wax rubbing compound but the 3M and the Mothers are not wax. You use them to get the scratches out and then use a wax. Make sure you get a clear coat safe rubbing compound. Some brands are pretty abrasive.

All the pumps around my area have big warning stickers on them saying not to get back into your car and NOT to use a cell phone. It might be a real remote chance but no phone conversation is worth the risk of getting your face burned off....or worse. I leave mine in the car.
