    Compare CX3 with CX5

I traded in my my 2013 CX-5 GT AWD with tech package for a 2016 CX-3 GT AWD with a tech package. I know there have been improvements between my old '13 and the current CX-5 that is for sale, but I definitely don't regret the trade. If you need a lot of space, it might limit you. But I've fit 2...

Anyone know paint code for Dynamic Blue?

The code showing for the UK brochure of the Mazda 2 is 44J for the Dynamic Blue Mica. I would assume it's the same for the CX-3. It was the code that came up for touch-up paint when ebay came up on the Google search

    Sound System

I never used centerpoint. Hated how it made the sound. Base +3 and treble +2. Traded my CX-5 for a CX-3 though, so I'm getting to know that BOSE system now

    2016 Seat Heaters

I never had an issue with the BOSE sound system, as long as the Centerpoint feature was turned off. That just made it all sound muffled. As long as that was off, it sounded great. Although the BOSE system on my CX-3 sounds better IMO. Traded our CX-5 in for it. Noticed the seats are a lot warmer...

    Question about Fuel Economy Monitor

Had a minor glitch with the nav myself. Just pulled out the SD card and it reset everything. Just had to do it once, so hopefully that's all that happens

    Question about Fuel Economy Monitor

So after a few fillups now, my fuel monitor is acting as I expected it to. I have it set to reset with every time I reset trip A. It is now saved to column 5 I believe. Not sure if yours has a glitch or is set up differently, but mine is working. Maybe take it to the dealer to see about getting...

Drove the cx-3. We are buying one

I'm at about 1200kms now (745 miles) and am averaging between 31 and 33mpg. Quite a bit of it has been highway, but even when zooming around town or enjoying the dynamics of the car on twisty, hilly roads, one easy stretch of road gets the mileage back up into the low 30's. And maybe it was...

Do HID lamps lose power as they get old?

Don't own a CX-9, but had a 2012 Mazda 5 and CX-5, both with HID lights. It might just be the design. The 5 was noticeably brighter than the CX-5. It wasn't that the CX-5 was terrible, just when you are expecting so much brighter, it is a bit of a letdown. Have a CX-3 now with the LED lights...

    Question about Fuel Economy Monitor

Been doing a lot of driving so far and have filled it twice now. Column 3 is showing the tank from the dealer and then the last tank and current one. My wife didn't reset it when she filled it up, otherwise I would be hoping it would show column 4 as well. Have another long trip to do tomorrow...

Drove the cx-3. We are buying one

Took the salesman's word about the noise cancelling feature. I think it was the only thing he actually was wrong about as he was very knowledgeable. I hate knowing more about the cars than the salesmen, so this guy was a pleasant surprise. We traded in a CX-5 with the Audiopilot feature. Never...

Drove the cx-3. We are buying one

We have the BOSE system with noise cancelling, which probably helps, but it just seems more solid overall. Wind noise is definitely less.

Cheers All, New CX-3 Owner Here

So far no issues, but it's only been a few days. They seem fairly easy to clean. It's leather so it's fairly easy to maintain. People keep a pair of sneakers clean, so this should be no issue. We specifically asked for this interior when we were shopping as we both loved the look.

Drove the cx-3. We are buying one

Just traded in my '13 CX-5 GT for a CX-3 GT. Just getting to know it, but already noticed how much better it drives than the CX-5 and how much quieter it is. If you need a lot of space, then this isn't the vehicle for you, but 4 of us fit comfortably on the 45 minute ride home from the dealer...

    Question about Fuel Economy Monitor

Just got mine today and I'll be monitoring it. The dealer set it up to reset every time I reset the trip computer, so I'll see how that goes. The Honda Odyssey I have resets every time it is refuelled and keeps track of the last 3 I believe. Pretty handy.

Cheers All, New CX-3 Owner Here

Just bought my CX-3 GT today. Technically the wife's car, but I'll be driving it every chance I get

    A Sad Goodbye

Well it is with sadness I post this message. Reality has caught up to me. I was hoping it would be a long term relationship with my 5 but with having to lug around 4 teenagers that won't stop growing (even growing taller than me) I traded in the 5 on a new Odyssey. The kids were gracious enough...

    Seat Comfort?

I took mine on a 12 hour trip last fall and found the seats quite comfy. I could have easily sat in it for the entire trip with minimal stops. Unfortunately the bladders of my passengers don't hold out as long as mine does. No complaints here.

Philosophizing on Mazda5 Driving and Refinement

You couldn't buy the Captiva, even if you wanted to. It is purely a fleet car and not available for individual customers. GM just rebadged a Saturn Vue and made it exclusively for fleet purchasers (mostly rental companies) when Saturn was axed. Basically tried to earn back some of the...
