i took out the plastic covers, which are about 2" long but the plastic pieces that came with the rack look like they are supposed to clip into something thats not there....i guess ill have to take a longer look. does ur front bar lay on top of the roof so that it would end up scratching the...

I tried installing it on my p5 but it doesn't look like it is. The front bar lays on the paint the rear is not wide enough and there are no holes for the plastic covers on the car

Bought this from someone on here that said it was for a p5 but went to put it on and there's holes missing for the plastic and the rear doesn't seem to stretch out enough. Thoughts comments solutions

turned out being the other wheel bearing, however, a different sound i had at first is back, or i can just here it again cuz its much quieter to drive the car. argh. stupid cars. at least this sound is minor and random and easily drowned out

its def not another wheel bearing. the tires dont seem to have any unusual wear but off the car the one didnt balance well...however, the tires were rotated and sound was pretty much the same. i feel it wouldnt be the trans, if the sound changes based on if im turning, no?

changed the wheel bearing and the noise is still there. rotated the tires and still the same noise (maybe louder?). i get a loud jet engine noise with the humming and slight vibration, varying depending on the speed, and the noise is loudest at my cruising speed of 70mph. But if i go to 72 gets...

im having a similar problem in the wifes cx7. im guessing its a wheel bearing but not much play in it and didnt really hear much when the car was jacked up and running. any thoughts on what else could be wrong? im replacing the bearing next week but feel it wont be the cure. any way to know if...
