    movie/tv cars

The Car with James Brolin is one of my fave. I also like this poster from the Bud Spencer/Terence Hill comedy "Watch Out We're Mad". A dune buggy is central to the plot. There's also a rally scene with old Ford Escorts/Capris, the Escort is in the poster too.

    classic V8s

I remember well when the 1982 3rd gen F bodies came along. There was a yellow 1979-81 shape Trans Am with red body decals parked in our apartment parking lot at the time and looking at that car, last of the 2nd gens, and looking at the first of the 3rd gens I knew there was no going back. The...

    classic V8s

IMO the 1980/81 Camaro Z/28s rate as classics, they have the looks of the older cars. It's going to be awhile before any 3rd gen F bodies can be thought of as true classics though. late 2nd gen Camaro Z/28 http://www.hoobly.com/pictures/full/WWHH4J521TU7.jpg (headbang)

    classic V8s

The 454 engine was planned for the 1970 1/2 Camaro, but never came to pass, the biggest engine the 2nd gen cars came with in Camaro was the 396. You have got to see this sweet 1982 last of the C3s Collector Edition Vette! http://ncarboni.home.att.net/NC82.html

    classic V8s

With their body add ons and decals/colors many today think they look like something from the Japanese import scene, but they predated that by many a year. (angel) The final cars even had a turbo. (rlaugh)

    RX4 and older

Thanks, yeah, the thought just came to me if anyone on the Protege forum had heard of those cars! http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/-749489182/ The RX4 was chosen as one of Road & Track's top ten best cars for 1975. In the early to mid 70s the RX2-4 had a reputation for V8 like...
