Just Bought a 2017 GT AWD - Love it but why such bad gas mileage?

I drive to work - 13 miles each day , mix of highway and city, but always in traffic. probably get 13-15 mpg, but the weekend where there less traffic, more like 18-21 mpg. The best I've got is 22.8 mpg on a trip to DC but I was averaging 80MPH.. so I know if you limit to 65 MPH, you should get...

Thoughts on my recent purchase of a 2012 CX-9 Grand Touring

I had a 2011 CX9 GT before I traded it in for a 2017 CX9 GT... I had 62K miles, and mostly troublefree. You're experiencing the wear and tear of a vehicle after 77K miles... if they give you what you paid for it, then take it and get a 2017/2018.

Don't see that many around in MA either.. most I see are Gray Metallic. My local dealership says they can't keep enough in stock - and they are a high volume dealer.. so where are the CX9s??? I really want the front parking sensors and the heated windshield.

In Defense of the CX-9's Air Conditioning

No issues with AC in Boston area. Obviously if it's been under the sun all day and its 90 out, it will take longer to cool. I also find that it's too cold at times....
