Honestly, who cares? The CX-90 is a smashing success. I hate to say it but those people that want to "define" what these cars are, are clearly not in touch with the Mazda's target audience for this car.

To me, the XC90 is the best looking SUV out there. The interior is also amazing and I would argue it has the best sound system out there. The cabin even smells good!

Just as clarification, the CX-5 now represents about 35% of all Mazda sales. They are slowing working to even out the sales of all their models so that the loss of the CX-5 won't sting so bad. There will be the CX-30, the CX-50, the CX-70 and the CX-90. I predict the CX-5 will be gone the year...

Looks fantastic. The great thing is the weight - at only ~1500 kg. Stuff like this is why I love Mazda. When the world is moving towards big, hulking SUV type cars, Mazda shows this.

I saw that as well. The installation seems VERY simple as compared to the CX-9.

For some reason, I think it was from the surveys. Most people asked for captain chairs and the majority were using it as a 4 seater with extra room. I think Mazda really listens to those surveys.

Agree with others, not sure what to make of those videos. And in reality, the CX-30 and CX-5 are two very different vehicles with different weight balances and such. Saying the difference in behavior during these tests is due to one thing is not logical - actually it is illogical.

Yeah, they did that stupid comparison between the CX90 and the X-5 and GLE, which are both really two row SUVs. Personally I can't believe how much faith people put in these "influencers".

Car and driver is all over the place. Supposedly, in their newest magazine (Apple News+) , they do a 5-car comparison against the usual competitors and the CX-90 wins.

When I drove the 280 hp car versus the 340 hp car, I felt no difference. Same with the PHEV. Zero difference in power. I personally think they should scrap the 280 and just have the 340 HP car that gets 319 with regular gas and 340 with premium gas.
