Sounds like a problem that I had. Did you get a sort of ticking noise when idling, and then it gets worse under strain? Like a fool, I ran out of oil (forgot to check), and destroyed one of the small end bearings. It cost me a new engine, and a lot of work!

Have fun fitting it! I just changed mine over this weekend. I'd say that the hardest part is trying to re-connnect the gearbox back up, and lifting the 300kg(ish) back up into the engine bay!
