I sanded them down,primered,wet sanded, and sprayed 3 coats but i didnt seal them. took it to a self serve car wash and put the hi pressure wash on about 2 inches from the wheels to see if they were going to chip or flake or anything and nothing came up so i figured it would be ok.

mine was bone stock when it blew at 5,117 miles. that number is stuck in my head. lol. it sucks when that happens. mine happen at low RPMs as well. i had just shifted to 2nd at 2k and boom. mine sounded just like yours did.

i looked at where mine had broke and it wasnt the actual bracket itself that broke it was the piece that it mounted to on the battery box that broke. so look by the bolts where it mounts to.

mine was NA lol. but that motor reved like there was no tomorrow lol. i had it built to take 10 grand all day long lol. you could just barely blip the throttle and it was 6 to 7 grand just that fast. i had a .651 lift full roller setup in that motor. i miss that motor lol. i had almost 12 grand...

sounds like a problem i had do you have a cobb sri intake by any chance and stock motor mounts? the bracket to my intake broke and it would make a clicking noise, cause the bracket was tapping together from the engine movement. its sounds like the problem your having too.
