They are marking it up above what it would cost me to get them myself. I know that they don't pay the prices that i pay for these parts. They get at least 10 percent off of what i pay, which is why i ask what would be a fair percentage markup above the 10 percent that they get from the discount...

What is the labor time to replace the transfer case. Also has anyone had theirs replaced where they had to pay for it, if so how much is the replacement.

Did you have this done already. 1 Hour is pretty quick. When I made the appointment I was told they would keep it for a day. So I told the lady in the service dept. on the phone that I would pick it up the next morning since I am at work and cannot get to them before 6.

Do you know if anyone worked on the car before? like maybe changed out the water pump and didn't align the marks correctly for the timing. You shouldn't be having that problem unless someone opened up the engine and may have worked on it and didn't properly put it back together.
