Hello, i would like to know how many and which brake caliper clips do i use on the front brakes on each side of my cx-9 ( 2007 ). I purchased power stop brake pads and got a bad with a whole bunch of clips. I really don't think that the brakes use all of those clips unless i am missing something...

It's the gray shroud that covers the strut mount. One is cut higher than the other. Look at the pictures carefully and I hope that you know what I mean. I was looking at it and that is what I noticed. The one that is cut higher is the one where you can see the upper mount.

Lindy, do you have a check engine light on yours? In new york if you have a check engine light in your car even if it runs perfect you still fail the inspection and can't drive the car until it is corrected. Is california different. I thought that they were more strict than new york.

That looks like the passenger side. If it is not the radiator then definitely the water pump. That is where i had the leak when my water pump went.

You removed the radiator hoses? If you did where they replaced as well. I am asking because I noticed that you have a 2007 like mine. I am wondering when replacing a radiator on this car would it be wise to replace the hoses and the thermostat at the same time since you have it all apart.

Wow over a gallon capacity on the washer fluid tank. Wish the capacity was half that for the transfer case which is a measly 17 ounces. Thanks to everyone for the input.

The factory privacy glass is allowed in New York state. You just can't tint the front doors or the windshield. The thing is i see a lot of sedans which cannot have tint at all with 2018 inspection stickers. I don't think that all these people got medical exceptions for the tint. I am guessing...

Who replaced the water pump the first time? was it you or a dealer, mechanic? How many miles did the replacement last, I am on the second water pump and so far have about 35k on it. Was replaced by the mazda dealer.
