Anyone try the New Bridgestone Weatherpeak Tires?

My first thought as well is a bad balancing job. I recently took my winters(on rims) in to COSTCO to be installed. I then noticed a vibration which had to be coming from the rear wheel(s) as there was no vibration in the steering wheel. I took my vehicle back to COSTCO and they rebalanced all 4...

OEM Yokohama tires wear out after 35k? Cost effective replacements?

I lucked into a one day sale on my new Pirelli AS+3's at COSTCO....saved 25% off a set of 4, BUT, I got mine in Canada and I hear that COSTCO in the U.S. doesn't carry Pirelli's.

OEM Yokohama tires wear out after 35k? Cost effective replacements?

After agonizing over 3 choices to replace my OEM Toyo's....Michelin CC2's, Continental LX25's or Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's, I too, opted for the Pirelli's which was a new model released in May, 2021. I run separate winters so ruled the CC2's out as they are more of a true all weather tire...

    Destination LE3 Tires?

I was also considering the Michelin CC2's and the Conti. LX25's, BUT, discovered the new for 2021 Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's. After comparing performance features on Tire Rack I settled on the Pirelli's and absolutely love them. Now, I also run separate winter tires so the Pirelli's satisfied...

Tire recommendations for 2017 CX-5 GT AWD?

I was looking at Michelin CC2's, Conti. LX25 and Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 2's. for my 2018 AWD GT to replace the OEM Toyo's. Pirelli now offers this new in 2021 model as a V rated tire and after comparing these tires on Tire Rack for features I was interested in (Comfort, Quietness, Treadwear...

    What's the tire consensus?

OK...first report on my new Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's: They are quieter than the Toyo's but then the Toyo's were almost down to the wear bars. The biggest difference is that they are much more responsive to turning and more comfortable (less harshness). I take my first long trip in a couple...

225/55R19 Tire Comparison Table for CX-5 GT - Many to Choose From

After agonizing over choosing between the Michelin CC2's, Conti. LX25 and the new (in May 2021) Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's, I compared their ratings on Tire Rack for the features that I am interested in.....Quietness, Comfort/Harshness, Treadwear, Rolling Resistance. I run separate winters so...

Tire upgrade options for 2022 CX-5 Signature

OK...first report on my new Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3's: They are quieter than the Toyo's but then the Toyo's were almost down to the wear bars. Tire upgrade options for 2022 CX-5 Signature

I've been mulling over tire choices for some time to replace the OEM Toyo's. I've run Michelin's before but found them to wear out faster than I would like. Michelin CC2's have been recommended but they too apparently wear out more quickly than several other brands. In addition, since I already...

I wish I could turn off cylinder deactivation

My understanding is that C.D. kicks in at less than 2000 RPM, and under 80 kph(50 mph), and will stay on unless you accelerate, come to a stop or go up an incline. It supposedly works best with cruise control set to speeds lower than 80 kph(50 mph). Is this correct?? If so I must try this and...

I wish I could turn off cylinder deactivation

I have read on another Mazda Forum that all CX-5 NA 2.5 models from 2020 models on have had a software upgrade that allows you to monitor Cylinder Deactivation. You go to your Infotainment system, click on the far-left Applications icon and then choose the "Fuel Economy Monitor". This then...

Seeking CX-5 Rim and Tire Advice

I bought a set of new CX7 17" rims from my Mazda dealer several years ago right after the CX7 was discontinued, at a really good price as they wanted to clear them out. I was getting them for my new 17" winter tires at the time. Try to find a set of these in good condition as they really suit...

    What's the tire consensus?

I too have been looking to replace my OEM Toyo's. I have reviewed the Consumer Survey Stats on Tire Rack for the Michelin CC2, Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 and the Continental LX25's, in 225/55/19. Now, I run separate winters, so the Winter/Snow advantage of the CC2's doesn't matter to me. I have...

Husky, my new go-to floor mats

I got my original 3D MAXpiders from www.partsengine.ca who are selling them for $119.99C for both fronts and $79.95C for the rears. COSTCO in Canada also sell the 3D MAXpiders, BUT, I like my newer Canadian OEM Premium liners better although at a higher price, as you say. I would recommend the...

Husky, my new go-to floor mats

I too had the same issues with my first set of MAXpider mats years ago when they started to wear under my right heel. Fortunately I had them replaced under warranty. Now, since I switched to the Canadian OEM Premium liners when I got my 2nd CX-5 3 years ago I have noticed NO similar wear under...

Curt versus Draw-tite Compare and Question

I currently have a class III Mazda hitch, which I am almost certain is made by Curt as it looks almost identical to the previous Curt hitch I had on my last CX-5. No cutting is/was needed on either of these hitches to fit under the bumper. Every fall I spray Fluid Film on on the inside of the...
