This connection method uses a 15a flylead fuse (available from Halfords in UK) in place of the usual piggyback fuse carrier normally supplied with most dashcams. This reduces the bulk and allows the fusebox lid to close properly. This method does require an additional in-line fuse carrier and fuse for the supply to the dashcam, which can be easily tucked away, as seen in pic 2.
