lol, Check this out...

The other day my mom called and told me that I needed to come up to her house to meet some people. I went over there and met two Romanian film makers that were visiting. My grandpa's 100th birthday is coming up (he died in '84), and these guys are gonna do a documentary on him. It's gonna be on German TV.
Anyway, no one else in my family even gets in the water at all...I'm the only remaining kin of Johnny Weissmuller that swims. The Romanian guys want to interview me and take some footage of me surfing. :)
They said that this documentary is not about Tarzan, Hollywood, or even the Olympics, it's about Johnny's childhood; where did he learn to swim? How old was he? Who was his first swim coach, etc.
I'm not looking forward to hanging out with two Romanian guys all day long( they have some funny-sounding accents), but it's gonna be pretty cool to get some good, professional footage of me surfing again. It will also be cool to learn more about Grampa's childhood and hometown.

Here's to Granpa Tarzan's 100th B/D, and to hoping that the surf comes up before friday!

Wow, Johnny Weissmuller is your grandfather! Has this come up before?(besides in Hwy 9 no one but you and Roy and Kza read that damn thing)

Sounds pretty cool, there was just a special on ESPN2 the other day about multiple Gold medal winners and Weissmuller was mentioned.

Yeah, my mom has a bracelet that's made out of some of his gold medals. I don't even want to guess it's worth.
Heh, when I was little, we used to call him "Grampa Tarzan".

Here's some of his accomplishments.
