93 Ford Escort GT
I just figured I'd post it here, since i have a couple buddies on this forum anyways. I removed the sidemoldings today and the rear escort emblem, next i will be removing the ford badging as well. I chose greddy because I like them, I have greddy gauges, a greddy turbo timer, greddy shift knob, greddy type s is in the mail, and monday I will be ordering the greddy e manage. if anyone cared lol.

I know it's not a good paint job i know the int looks funky, it's a 93 gimme a break lol. I dun wanna get bombed like ben did.

NICE! I have always liked that body style Escort GT! When I see one on the road I think of the Cossies in Europe. How is available of performance parts for the Escort? Have you checked out this website out? http://www.batinc.net They have alot of performance parts for the Escort. I think!

Looks good. =) I would get rid of the GReddy badge, but I agree with you, GReddy is a rockin' company. I have the same shift knob. Any chance you could get a closer shot of the shifter? I'd like to see the finisher, too, as I'm thinking about getting one to retrofit onto my Protege's shift boot/shifter to make it look proper. =)

thanks guys lol, on a side not, I have some Protege LX mirrors in my basement when i get off my ass and paint em. They are normal retracting mirrors, not the square springy crap on my car now.

here you go m8.

So who else thinks the badge should go? I'm having seconds thoughts as well.

Hehee!! I seeeeee you. ;) Looks really good, man! Thanks! I think I might pick up one of those shift boots and the finisher, for sure. Getting my other shift boot to work would probably be an issue. How does it connect to the finisher? Elastic in the opening?

Everything I've read about the Escort GT says that they are a bunch of fun to drive. The look screams EARLY NINTIES, but I like the angular cool theme going on.

My first car was an LX model. Different engine, suspension, and not much fun. I think the weight bias was something like 80/20. How does she handle?

the finisher has a ridge in it so that the boot can fit in, the boot is folded over right there so it makes a lip it slips right in. NOW the finisher is not held up by anything, until I'm able to weld something more permanent, I wrapped electrical tape around the shift lever to hold the finisher up. Sounds ghetto but it works EXCELLENT, no play at all.

Also, ya the EGT handles good, It has tokico struts and sprint springs right now, but I'm sure 90% of the bushings are blown lol, I gotta do a lot of replacing and I'm gonna make some bars for it :D

haha I"m a pic *****, finally got dark, look how amazing the greddy dauges go w/the stock gauges, I can't tell you how impressed I am with greddy's product, the quality is unmatched!

one's a small one and the other is a larger one.. (hand)

Never thought I would hear myself say it, but that is one sick escort.

Thing's a sleeper, too. You should go find some ricers to kill :D

pat post a pic of the motor..then they'll know whats up.

i don't like to brag buttttttttt... lol, this is an old pic of the motor, before we started replacing gaskets, painting and crap like that. Also a pic of like 65% of the parts going into this pig. The haltech is going in the other car though, count that out. EGT shown in the pics will have a greddy e manage.

YEAHHH DUDE...haha i can't wait till thats in..i still enjoyed when you threw that haltech in my lap..i should of just started running.

Whoa... that car is awesome, you should keep the greddy sign, and if anyone makes fun of you about it, just race them and burn them. I think your car would look awesome if you went for a kinda "rally style" look.

hell yeah man! No reason to flame you at all, thats a bad ass Escort. I say take the Greddy sticker off, keep it a secret. Good s***!

haha thanks doug!
