Blown engine!!!!!!

thought i would get your attention!!!!! well i thought i did but i just blew my pipe from the turbo to the intercooler off!!!! this makes it so you cant idle at all (stalls instantly) but it starts back up..... (btw while trying to drive home i had no clue what happened) i just had to keep the engine above 3000 all the way home and then i was praying it was a pipe!! comes to find out that is all it is!!! guess after last time of taking everything apt i didnt tighten it enough!!!!!!! just figured i would share since it scared the s*** out of me!!!!!

Good thing it was just a fitting, are you using Tbolt clamps?

Gotto make sure you tighten the clamps very well..Infact after i had my fmic installed..i went back 2 days later..and retightend all clamps.

Same thing happened to me, except I thought it was from a bov never thought it was my IC pipe until i got home.

i am just glad that is all it was!!! i have been having idleing problems for a few days so i guess the pipe has been working loose since then since my idle is now back to normal!!!

I had the exact same thing happen to me......................my very FIRST ride with the turbo installed! BAM! 8psi to 0psi in .25 seconds! LOL

I had my car blow off the pipe at the TB... made it run crappy, EGT went up, and had no balls and couldn't build boost...

But yeah pipes popping is scary until you find out what it is .
