My friend just bought this. It's an 1996. I had the chance to test-drive it and it's simply awesome.

Here are some night pics I took...

First the front of the beast

A great look at the 265/35ZR18 rear tire

Rear view, again look at the width of the tire

Isn't she great ? (rockon)

He didn't really tell me how much, but my guess is high 60K Canadian $$. It has about 15,000 miles on it, it's just like new.

I think i just creamed my pants...

Nah seriously though, one day im going to own a Porsche. Turbo though :P

AHAH ! Yeah well, I guess he was too impatient. But I don't blame him, every minute in this car is incredible (Till cops arrest you for nonsense)

He previously (and still) drive a Plymouth voyager 1995 which is a real cancer on four wheels. What a step up eh ?

He had this idea years ago to get a 911 and finally got it !

lol...good for him. I guess that was instrumental in his ability to save up for the Porsche.

Pimp you better find a garage for that thing because it won't last long out there. 96'? Those things have HID projectors? I didn't even know projectors were out then. I thought the 1st car to have them was the BMW 7 series

Yes, I'm still wondering if the first owner installed aftermarket ones or not. But looking quickly at google images for this year and they all seem to be HID projectors.

lol...i dont photoshop (I suck) but this gives you a better idea of what i was talking about..(boom08)

That is one of my dream cars as well. I actually want the 96 twin turbo but I think that may just be a dream. I really love the 3.6 turbos as well. Just love the body style of the older Porsches. How the body is wide and fat in the back YUM YUM YUM, Guess that is why I loved my E-30 M3 so much , widebodys rock!!!!

Nice, it gives the idea ! No I wasn't asking for you to Pshop it. I will, tonight or whenever I can. I'll try with real black ones just to see. I think there's a post today from a guy who just got black rims... I'll steal them

You don't say. When I'm following him, with the roaring and this big wide ass, wide tires, screaming as it goes trough gears it's just amazing... I'm thinking about doing a vid this summer, still working on some ideas. But I don't want it to look to amaturish...
