Anyone have braided steel hoses?

I've seen a few pics of cars that have braided stainless steel hoses in the engine compartment. Anyone know where I can get these and what is involved in installing them? It seems like you'd have to get them made to the correct lengths and diameters. Any info would be appreciated.

Ichibahn makes an engine dress up kit.. I bought one but returned it when I decided I didn't want to put it on.. I started to but I pulled the radiator hose and coolant started spilling everwhere since I didn't drain it first, duh for me.. so yeah I decided not to put it on anyways since one of the hoses came unbraided when I pulled it out of the package..

I believe Pirana's was a Honda kit from Nokya..

As for me, I'm just gonna get some wire loom and use that. Easier to put on and take off.

As for me, I'm just gonna get some wire loom and use that. Easier to put on and take off.

you pull the hose off slowly and when it starts to drip put a cup or a funnel leading to a big bottle there and you can pull it off from there

pr5owner, are your kits just the wire loom that covers the existing hoses? Are all kits like this or do some actually replace the hoses? The reason i ask is in the pics I have seen, the hoses have anodized fittings on the end of them. Also, what does your kit include?

I have some of my hoses covered. Haven't done the upper radiator hose yet.

they come with diffrent sizes of braided sleeves so you can put them over a bunch of diffrent hoses in your engine compartment, the anodized fitting i did have one point in time but not anymore
