Turbo MP3 and 3rd Gen RX-7

Hey LinuxRacr,
Haha, did not know there was a turf war going on between the different forums/boards. Since I don't want to choose sides, I guess I'll just repost on this forum also.
I had to post to set the story straight from all the half truths you were posting...just joking with ya.
I was quite impressed with your MP3. We were doing about 100+ mph when the MP3 began inching away about half a car length from me before we had to shut down because of traffic.
My car has basic bolts-ons (intake, downpipe, midpipe, catback, ecu - upgrade, SMIC intercooler, etc.) and still boosts up to 10 psi (just intermittently). The MP3 has very decent top-range power (very surprising). The thing that impressed me the most was how "stock" looking the car looked with the turbo kit since the intercooler is pretty much hidden behind the front grill of the car and it was very quiet (well at least in my car it was - even though I am half deaf from my exhaust
).
It seems to have very similar characteristics to a 1.6L miata running a Greddy turbo kit. I got to see under his hood and the look of everything seemed very "clean" (as in not do-it-yourself in the garage) and very OEM-like. Of course, Linuxninja keeps his engine bay so clean you could literally eat off of it (not a speck of dust/oil/grime...nothing...nada...looked like he just bought it off the showroom floor).
Well, I hope we get a chance to meet each other on the highway again.
Oh, yeah...since this is obviously your forum of choice LinuxRacr, I'll let only your forum in on a little project I got going on the side. This is the pic of what I'll be rolling on in a couple months (if I ever get enough time to work on my car). The right tire is the stock 8 inch RX-7 and the left one is by 12 inches

Welcome to the "uda side!" Naw, not turf war, I just post here more bacause it is more specific to my car. Those 18 will set you apart...definitely! Are those also projection/HID headlamps I see in the corner of that picture? Great car! Now find that leak so I can take another ride with the full power of the ride! Those are 4th generation Supra projection headlights in a failed attempt to make my own sleek headlight kit which is next to the vented hood that I've slept next to for the last 2 years since I haven't had a chance to get it painted and put it on my car yet, which is next to endless car parts which are stored in my room, in my closet, under my bed, in the garage, etc

And I'll definitely give u a ride when the car is "full" power. Probably finally finish my car when I get laid off from work .
