Just scroll to post 6 and youll see two of them. Dial up sucks.

just buy a new bumper cheaper then all the work that would take and the hood can be pulled. try calling a dent master cost you like 50 for the hood and then use 2000 sandpaper wet it with tons of water then buff it out with one of the man compounds readily available.

or duck tape hah stop signs dont mean you use them to stop wtih them yo stop at them hah jk jk

i theres somone selling a p5 one cheap cause the got a WW ones

Yeah the bumper and the lip are toast. The paint chipped on the hood too. I just hope they can fix it since its on that seam. Cant get it from underneath either becuase it is covered by hood reinforcement.

No I was just hauling ass and ran out of road. It was night time out in the boonies. I overdrove a left hand turn and pushed right off the road and hit it. It was too wet out and I was driving too fast.

its on the the seam yea but they can try and its may look better then what it would cost you in he body shop. becareful sanding on the seam you could totally **** the paint because its thinner there. he can cut a small hole in it just so i he can get to the dent. the push tools are pretty small.

Well I'm going to wait a bit on the hood since I can deal with that for now. A BC2 bumper is going to be 250+ shipping, they are guessing that paint will be about 335 for materials to do the bumper and the autoexe grill, then add in labor which will be 150-200 if I do the prep work.
So it looks like just to do the bumper I am talking $800 or so with parts and paint. Does that seem high to anyone else?

nope.. i replaced my bumper, the ground effects, got it painted, and ended up right at $1000. bumper is 180, effects run at 325, paint and labor costs bunch too. granted that was all from mazda (parts at least) and so a bc2 would be a lil less, so thats just about right

yea thats about right but you might as wel buy the whole kit the WW bumper can be pulled off with just the front the BC needs the whole kit to look right.

my bumper and fender got screwed up, quoted about 1200 for it all.
I would suggest talking to SVXIN about getting a new stock bumper if your interested, he gave me a good deal for a new one, painted by him. He showed me other pics of bumpers heed done and they look great. Maybe see if he has time to help you out?

I feel like if I have to buy a new bumper I should at least buy an aftermarket bumper. If I just get an OEM replacement bumper I will have to get the lip too which is what screws me. The lip costs more than the bumper and then I'll still need paint. If I don't get teh lip then I have to put in fog lights and wire those up.

This was my reason for wanting to get the BC2 bumper. Now I am worried about getting just the bumper becuase I don't want to look mismatched to the rest of the car. I can get the full kit but that just means another $450 dollars in parts and possibly having to get more than a quart of paint.

I am so undecided as to what to do. I am going to take care of the hood last though.

yeah, i kept the stock look since i also have a set of painted downforcers awaiting install, then i didnt have to buy a new windsplitter either
