2010 CX-9 P0016 code

Recently had the check engine light come on, scan shows P0016. I checked the camshaft position sensor and it's reading 1.2 ohms. Not sure where else to go with it. Seems to be running a little rough intermittently with some noise but nothing crazy other than that. Appreciate any tips.

Check your oil, make sure it isn't contaminated with water.

If that isn't it, the variable valve timing actuators have been known to fail occasionally, which causes this issue.
