I just have 2 msp knobs and they don't even grab the thread on the kartboy they're to tall. So I need to get something else that will work with that shifter..I used the kartboy one.

Also, I'm pretty sure the thread pitch is the same as stock, so your OEM one will fit too.
Your shifter's thread pitch is m10x1.25. Kartboy makes nothing for Mazda anymore and Subie thread pitch is different/bigger, so finding a new kartboy knob will be tough.

Not a huge fan of the old poolball style shift knobsView attachment 211146View attachment 211147
Doesn't anyone use a simple round black ball anymore? lolz. I do and I like it. I hope the jpgs show up. My goal was not necessarily to change knobs, but rather increase the height of the shift ball and still retain the oem "throw distance" or shorten it a bit. This was accomplished with the installation of a generic short shifter (cut off the top threaded portion of short shifter and cap it with the top from the oem shifter. The oem is a 2 piece you know. You set the angle to your preference before the JB weld sets up. And then you screw on your 3" extension and your favorite knob.
I realize I may have provide TMI. but I do it because it's information and many people are here seeking it.
I liked the mazda 3 knob, the black leather one with the silver collar and silver shift pattern on top. Nice weight to it and looks stock but feels way better then stock
