Turbo inlet pipe

Hey all, I'm new to the MSP family but far from new to the mazda Family, as this is my 4th mazda....but thats a side note. So heres my question.... Does anybody make an aftermarket turbo inlet pipe, or does anybody know where i can get an OEM pipe. I just recently bought a MSP and for the most part its in good shape, the bigest prob is that the previous owner rigged their own inlet pipe, and its verry half assed. its a combo of pipes that are too big and the stock elbow of the pipe. and the worst part is that the elbow/acordian looking part is flaring everytime i rev the engine, not to mention it has manny large cracks in it.

ok, so theres my problem, any help is much appreciated.

no, im not looking for intake, i have that all ready, Im talking about the pipe that runs from the intercooler to the actual turbo, its the pipe thats you see closest to the front of the car, Ive attached a pic with it surrounded in a red..

there are a few companies out there that sell a kit, weapon r comes to mind that replaces all the stock pipes with hard pipes for the side mount intercooler also krayzie's link is a great replacement>
check out protege garage he should be able to fix you up !!!

i've onwed the sls hot pipe as well as the weapon r pipes, they are both good pieces.

samco also makes a silicone hotpipe as well.

my fave hardpipes are the street unit ones, they are really sexy

so heres an odd question, but shouldn't the hot pipe connect to the turbo directly, or is there another peice needed?

yes the hot pipe should be connected to the turbo and the intercooler

Also, I have the samco hot pipe on my MSP it is a very nice piece. I would recommend some nice t bolt clamps to go with it.

No other piece is required, just the hot pipe. Your piping should go like this. Intake to turbo, turbo to intercooler, intercooler to throttle body.

hey all I was just asking cause when i recieved my SLS HOT pipe yesterday, it looked extremly short compared to the piping that was on there. after i pulled the old stuff off, i was able to fit this on propprerly. Im so happy, as this killed two birds with one stone, first the hot pipe that was on there when i baught it was about to crack, and second, my idle was dropping all the time till the car would stall. now with the new pipe on, it seems to have fixed both problems,

thank you all for your help
