2.5"exhaust Pics

Here are some pics of my exhaust. I have 2.5" SS piping, 2 highflow radom technology cats, 2.5"ID magnaflow resonator, and a JIC Magic Bullet muffler/canister. I will post a few more pics tomorow when i clean my car. I took some rear shots but they turned out too dark.


My exhaust was done by Andy Wagner of www.Wagnermotorsports.net The exhaust is made of of his turbo downpipe, his Mid pipe, and a custom catback. It sounds and looks great.

I got it done when i had my turbo installed, last saturday we added the resonator b/c i had the silencer/restrictor in b4 and it rattled. Now with no silencer it sounds great. We also adjusted the location of the muffler.

id take some pics of my 2.5" exhaust that meets up to my JIC catback, but its all ghetto, and needs to be redone and better connected to the downpipe.

Why a small exhaust w/ the turbo? I'd think one would want the largest possible. Is 2.5 the largest possible?

2.5 is plenty big for what psi i am running.

What kind of PSI are you running? Even 6 or 7 could use the 'quicker spool' of a larger exhaust...


(shrug)...if you can FIT 3"...GO 3" Too late now, though...hehe

I could fit 3" but i opted for 2.5"

doesnt really matter because im gonna get an exhaust cutout soon anyways b4 my first high flow cat.

If you are talking about the lumps in weld near the resonator it is b/c he tacked it with the kind of welder that uses a copper color wire. just to hold it in place so i could get everything in the exact place i wanted.

250 for the ss piping 80 for the resonator and the canister was around 230. not much cheaper, but i got a full 2.5" (compared to 2.36")and a nice resonator 2.5" ID
