Well, as some of you know, I ordered a little different color for my brakes. I went with the G2 'Mustang' paint, which was supposed to be color matched to the Tungsten Grey exterior paint for the 05+ Mustang. I got mine done this weekend with 3 coats and here's the result. No pics of the wheels on yet since the weather has been crappy, but this gives you a good idea:

Pic 1 is after the calipers were cleaned, pics 2-4 are finished product.

Let me know what you think, pics with the wheels on are coming soon.

Looks great. Wanna come and paint my discs?

that looks great. my plan is to paint mine just plain silver, so they look clean, and stand out just enough to look like new calipers.

No need to draw attention to 2 piston brakes.

Thanks. I just like the way brakes look painted, and that was one of my gripes about the MS6. It wouldn't have been hard to paint them from the factory, even a silver would look good IMO. It was either this color or black, but the grey worked out better overall.

did you degrease them and just spray? i want to paint mine black but i dont want to remove the caliper.

Wire brush + brake cleaner, then a quick wipe down with a rag, then paint. They were not removed from the car at all.
