My boost gauge install....

:
07 CX-7 AWD TOURING
Here is a pic of my install in progress.....Thanks to yelomp5 for his detailed install...My finished product should be up tomorrow...

The gauge is a mechanical Prosport boost gauge....I read a ton on all the different gauges and i noticed quite a few Speed 3's and 6's using mechanical with great success.....so i'm going to give it a go....(stash)

I can't wait to see it powered up! I've got the Pro-Sport Electronic Boost gauge myself. I'm still trying out to figure where to mount it... I also want a Dash-Hawk next to it so I'm still undecided.

I used the plastic inside of a DVD case....looks natural...Here's a shot of it all wired up and a shot at night....

Could you give me lil bit more detail?
How did you cut the hole for the gauge?
How did you attach the piece of plastic onto the vent itself?

I always wanted to do this, I was even thinking about fiberglassing it.
Thanks alot!

Dont mean to thread jack but for people with trip guages in the center vents . . . does that hurt the AC ? I know more air would just come out of each side (far left / right) but still . . . Doesnt seem like it would cool the car very well.

Did you have to drill for the vacuum ??
