I feel in love with the Rota P-45R's. I `m not to familiar with rim sizes and fitment but here is what they offer.... Will it fit? And what tire sizes would work? (Rolling the fenders is not an issue, I`m ok with that) Thanks guys!

18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +30
18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +48
18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +25
18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +12

Suspension geometry would be out of whack. Too much of a deviation from the stock set up. I wouldn't recommend.

the wider you go the lower offset you would want to go to get it away from the struts, and then you would have to roll the fenders, but like previous people have mention your geometry would be out of wack

What exactly is meant by the geometry? Like they would stick out past the fender wells? There has got to be a way to fit these.... Keep the comments coming guys, I would love to be the first and hopefully not the last to do something this radical. Just imagine hope DOPE this would look....
But on our cars!!!!

18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +48 will be your best bet. You'll have some clearance issues with the inside of the rear fender. Rolling might take care of that. I'm not sure what issues you might see with suspension components.

it'll really depend on the tires, you'll have to stretch a 215/35/18 over them and you'll still rub,

fold the rear fenders flat and if possible run camber on it.

stock streched tire should be ok.....if you are on stock suspension rolled fenders should be enough , but if you will lower car in future start saving money for coilover because there is no way any of those wheels will fit with lowering springs.....

they will stretch that far. It will look silly though. I've seen a 195 stretched on an 8 inch rim.

Why not go with the P45F's instead of the P45R? The R series was designed for the 350z crowd so they could run a staggered setup as the P45F was only available up to 8" width prior (of course now you can get them up to 9.5" too). They are almost the same wheel, just minor variations. But I don't know of anyone on here running that width/offset combo. Before making a purchase I would go to a wheel shop and see if you can test a wheel of that size on your car, just to save any potential heartbreak. However, I will stick with my original and say they will not fit effortlessly (there will be some major fitment issues).

I see why he wants to go with the P45R. The F's are just not the same. Even though they're almost the same wheel, the R is in a class of its own.

I've seen a 185, yes a 185, stretch out on a 8'' wheel. On a freinds miata. looked retarded. Don't know how he did it either.

215 on a 9.5 is not that crazy of a stretch, the 240 guys do that all the time
here is a 225 on a 10.5 wheel

Hey guys, I really appriciate all the responses to this thread.

714ms3:

The reason I want the R's versus the F's is because of the way the R's lean inward, I just think that is the absoult sexsiest look on a rim, it gives it such a stance that you just don't get with the F's.... The F's do look nice with out a doubt but it's just not the same.

I`ll get different tires for it hopefully in the 225/40-35 or 235/40-35 range. I`ll have to do a ton more research on this though because there seems to be a pretty strong yes and no opinion come from everyone.

So off the top of my head here is what I`m thinking:

18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +30 W/ 235/40 tires rolled fenders (I`m not planning on lowering the car at all so no worries there) What do you guys think: Yes or no?

Thanks again it means a lot to me that you guys take the time to help a complete stranger!

Even if you get the 30 offset to fit, your wheels will stick out like a sore thumb. Trust me, it will stick out like crazy. Your best bet is with the 48 offset, but I doubt you'll have enough space for a 9.5 underneath the suspension.

But with all that said, I would love for you to prove me wrong. I'd love to see concave wheels in our car.
