Blacked out emblems

Does anyone have a silver ms3 with blacked out emblems? I wanna do this, are they easy to remove just pop them off or...? Also, any paint will work or any recommendations? TIA

Have you tried searching? A very similar question was just asked not to long ago and even with my huge amount of 39 posts I know there are a few threads already about this, hell all you have to do is scroll down this page a bit to see one of them.

forgot to say it WAS silver....

It's pretty much glued on, we did it ourselves, well had it done here.
It's a matte black coat (or 2) over the (thoroughly sanded) original chrome finish of the emblem(s). I love it!!
