Anyone heard of these??

they are 18x7.5 wheels made by flik. anyone heard of them? they are from this site www.edgeracing.com wheels in my oppinion look pretty nice, and i love the polished lip, bit 188 seems damn cheep for an 18 in. wheel. i wonder about the quality. also, the weight is just listed as n/a. anybody that can shed some light on this, or anybody think they're just ugly? i think they might look good on my titanium.

yea, seen them on some vw's. they are badass. i say get them.

The only reason they might be that cheap is the weight. It's a one-piece wheel with the rivets to make it look like a 2 or 3 piece wheel. I say go for it.
If you call them, they should be able to give you a weight on it...

anybody know how much the stock msp wheels weigh? what would advantages/disadvantages be of going with 18 in. over 17 in?

Only things that will change are... you may rub against your wheel wells when hitting big bumps, and ur spedometer might be slightly off.

dont quote me on this but I remeber someone saying our wheels with air in them weighted 40 pounds...not sure if that is true.

Hey NMaino, did you sell your MSP yet? (Is that what that "waiting to see" means?)

Those wheels look pretty nice but I'm not sure if they really look any better than the rims that you already have. The only thing "bad" that I'd maybe say about these black ones is that the spoke pattern looks a little "SRT4-ish" -- which I've never really liked personally. But since they're black they're not as bad.

Oh, I forgot to say though --- that machined lip against the black spokes looks AWESOME. That might be a good enough reason to get them right there! I seem to remember seeing rims similar to these in the Photo section on a P5 -- they looked REALLY nice on that one so I'm sure they'd look great on yours too.

IMO - I would be careful about buying wheels with that much detail in the spokes. I had wheels like those on my interga and they were nice but very time consuming to clean. Just my .02 cents.
