Not to mention stock appearing hehehe

stock intake
stock pipes
stock muffler
stock unflashed ECU
stock intake manifold (minus VTCS and some porting)
stock exhaust manifold (minus some light porting)
STOCK FUEL INJECTORS
100% STOCK INTERNALS

JoeP MBC @ 16+psi
JoeP FCD keeping maf at 4.9v WOT

here is your hint for the final mod:

Dyno #s, track times, kill list and finished install pics coming soon.

Walked an STI lasted night by over at least 5 car lengths from a roll at 14psi. Guy could not believe it when I popped my hood after. Whats wrong buddy, its stock..hehehe

Hopefully the stock rods in this motor will last long enough for me to get a aftermarket set of rods in my spare motor. If I am lucky I should get 50,000+KMs out of this one.

Stock MSP FTW 12.X qm here I come. Not to mention well under $1000 in mods..this is backyard engineering at its finest boys. For less then the price of a FMIC I have a 13.x MSP stock appearing, once I get some good rubber Im going for 12s. Makes ya wonder why ya spend so much on aftermarket parts dont it hehe (flame2)

technically, your engine is a zoom zoom boom club member waiting to happen

but i do like it when you smoke an sti

Even at 14psi I doubt its fast enough to walk an STi. You still are limited to the restrictions of how much air is coming into the car and exiting it. IE stock intake and exhaust. Congrats on working to blow a motor or whatever. Hope the new block lays down some serious power. (cool)

oh and to keep you guys from being totally confused here is your 2nd pic. It is not of the completed system as I dont have a camera. My buddy took this pics a week or so ago when i was still waiting on 3 solenoids and 4 new nozzles.

About those pics you are trying to post:

I'll take a shot in the dark and say you're doing either water or meth injection and a center cartridge upgrade on the turbo. Oh, and stock STI aren't really that fast. Had you said stock EVO, I'd be a little more impressed. I pull away from stock EVO/STI without a problem in my vf34 wrx.

wtf r u talking. You think because I have a stock intake I cant go fast lol wow man you got taken in by the hype lol aem got ya. The intake is fine, the exhaust is 3" catless turboback to stock muffler. I am hollowing out the muffler this long weekend to lose that last bit of backpressure in the system.

and btw a stock sti puts down 240whp and weighs over 3000 pounds, do the math, its slow lol I used to beat them with my old setup ~12psi. no problem.

The fastest stock appearing time / stock block I can find to beat is blkzoomzooms 13.1 with slicks, should be a good time to try and beat the stock appearing record.

ok I made 2nd pic an attachment a few posts up, 1st shows up for me I dunno bout u. maybe cardomain is having problems.

pretty sure technical term would be something like individual port digital methenol injection system

and btw dont ever try to tune something like this with a WB02, it cant compensate for the different fuels, you need a Lambda gauge, trust me on this lol!

I am thinking of removing the stock interwarmer in order to keep the turbo in efficiency range a bit more, seems if I am boosting 14psi, the turbo is actually working maybe 16-18psi before the IC restriction. Most people running a system like this in their drag cars are hitting 30+psi without an IC btw.

Direct Port Alcohol/water injection. Nice. How are you going to control it? Let me know what you think of it when you are done.

wow buildup is really beginning now. found a nice bracket to mount fuel rail to the firewall, has nice gromets and everything. Found a guy who sells a very very nice injection controller for only $125 USD. I am currently using an UltraMakeShift controller I rigged together using random boost sensors, resistors and a couple other random bits to control the system all mounted in a old HP small form factor case lol, the new one is much nicer and is accurate to whithin 0.2psi. Waiting on 4 new 0.7 nozzles, the ones I have are too large for my application.

NJ is not far away, if you are ever coming this side of the boarder lemme balance my new tires and get my own lambda (im just borrowing one right now) and maybe we could meet at a track day or something. I really want to start getting into racing on tracks like shannonville or mosport, I missed the mazda day they had a short time ago :( You ever hear of Cayuga? Its only $20 to run if you are ever around we could meet up.

nope oakville ontario canada.

removed intake manifold for increased porting, finnally got my hands on some tools. Should have it back together in a few days, threw the spare IM i have back on. I need to get some phelonic spacers, I keep screwing up the stock gaskets from taking it off/on too much. I have no experience porting a head so I dunno if I should give it a try, I have 2 spare FSDE heads in my garage, not to mention 3 set of cams/valvetrains and a whole other bunch of junk I really gotta do something with or sell.
