i dont get why they are making them illegal, doesnt make sense to me...

bad aftermarket hid's that blind everyone should be illegal. if they're oem, that's fine, those are DOT approved. i just hate driving and some guy with aftermarket hid's comes driving my way looking like he has two spotlights for headlights. that's probably why they're becoming illegal.

1) NO, I think it's stupid to ban a safety feature like better vision at night. Maybe fix-it tickets for people who don't aim them correctly would be a better solution.

Well the Kits have always been illegal to put on your car, they are just starting to enforce the sell of them. Before they were for off-road use only.
But yes people were just getting b****y about being blinded by poorly aimed lights.
