Hello every one. Im sure this has been asked a lot. I have had my p5 for about 2 years now a have made up my mind its time to upgrade. I have bought the hiboost kit. Ok now with the question i have a stock car ex for the exust with is greddy. What all would i need to upgrade to make the car run right. i know ill need a new fuel rail, fuel injectors, radiator, turbo timer, boost controller, but have looked and have got no where with parts. If any one has installed the hiboost kit or could point me in the right direction that would be cool. thanks for the help trip

You don't need anything else to run it. It will run out of the box at 8psi. The other stuff you will want down the road when you turn the boost up...along with a built engine and full 2.5" or larger exhaust. The turbo timer you could get now and it will add that extra bit of security. I wouldn't worry about the radiator or the fuel rail unless you're talking about big numbers.

Definitely get a stronger clutch and while you're at it, have a lighter flywheel thrown on there. Some things to look into are in the "stickies" in the forced induction section. Get the Mazda Millenia PCV Valve for sure.

Ok thanks for the help now another question comes in i have looked at turbo timers is there any that r set for the p5's or will any one of them work.
also i looked at clutchmasters.com would a FX300 (Stage III) system work. (RTM)

I couldn't give you advice on a turbo timer seeing as I don't have one yet. Soon I hope. Any of them should work but I'm sure there are a few opinions on the forums.

As far as the clutch goes, the Stage III Clutchmasters will definitely do what you want. They will hold some pretty big numbers. I have a Stage IIR that I got from www.rr-racing.com. It will hold what most people would ever need.

I also have the CM Stage IIR from rr-racing with about 60k miles with my Hiboost Kit. I started slipping with the stock clutch almost right away in 2nd gear. On top of the Millenia S PCV I would reccommend a Oil catch can in line with it to further keep sludge out of your intake tract and turbo. I don't have a turbo timer either but always warm up my car before I drive and allow cool down before I cut it off out of habit.

I can't believe I forgot this but don't forget gauges!! Boost and Wideband are "must haves" in my opinion. Others to think about from there are EGT/Pyrometer and oil pressure.

300hp? You'll need new rods and pistons.

Protegegarage.com has the PCV from the millenia, that's where I got mine.

very awesome. don't go over like 8-10 psi on stock internals w/ a turboooo...I'd suggest a fully built motor from Speedcircuit.net he's the man. did wonders for my car.and still to come.
