well, traded the Spec V again. it's a 4runner sport edition v6 4x2 this time. totalled 32K out the door. dealer took spec v for 14K. this is it for me, no more trade-ins, loose too much money already. thought of sharing it with you guys. i wanted to get the 6s but 4runner is for practical for me. check it out...go to:

you trader your spec V again?.. do you mean you bought one, traded it in, bought another one and traded THAT in?

at first, i had a super white 03 P5 tip thronic (auto/manual) for 8 months then i traded in into an 03 aztec red spec v. had the spec v for 3 months then i traded it in again into this one, a 03 4runner v6 4x2 sport edition and it's an automatic and yes, all of the cars i mentioned are all paid for. i know i had lost a lot of money when trading in but what the heck...we only live once...and oh yeah..i am in the military too and will be coming over to california for training next month. hope to see some p5s on the freeway..
here's another pic of my 4runner..

wish I made that much damn money in the military to pay off cars. Your non military job must kick ass! Congrats on the new ride!

you must be kidding rmedoc...the level we get paid in the military qualifies us for welfare and foodstamps, and low income housing...if you are below E5 you fit into the poverty level...only in recent years have we started to close the pay gap...if the public thinks we make so much money i would love to see their reasoning :-)

i think you misunderstood him...

i'm not too fond of the new 4runners...they remind me of the explorer too much...but they're still fun to romp around in

maybe i did, im a bit sensitive...hey sundevil was it you that gave me the number to that place for the 02 sensor cheat?

Razor, yeah, you misunderstood me. I know all about our crappy paychecks. Had one for 7 years now. I am an E-6 and still could qualify for foodstamps if it weren't for my wife's job.
I merely was making a comment on how it must be nice for him to pay for 3 vehicles in one year with a military paycheck, especially when he is in the national guard, and not in the regular army like ourselves. That's why I said he must have a killer "real" job, cuz I know his military check ain't cuttin that kind of money to him.

EDIT- And I don't know why, but you look damn familiar to me. Ever stationed at Schofield Barracks, Fort Stewart, or Fort Irwin? The Army is a small world, so I may might have met you one time or another. I dunno, just curious I guess.

fyi, eventhough i am only in the national guard and not active army like you guys, i work full-time in the guard, they call us active guard reserve (AGR) and i am getting the same pay and benefits like the active army, i.e. basic pay, housing, cola, so on and so fort....and my wife also works and receive tips everyday working as a bushelp at a hotel here on island of kauai. so eventhough i am only an e5, i have 3 more years till retirement, 20 years!!! it's true about getting a low income housing but not the rest. also, fyi, my house is paid off too...how's that sound guys and i live here in paradise...HAWAII....
pls don't get me wrong and pls don't say those words again..mahalo (thanks)...
