I just got my P5 back from the body shop and I am a bit concerned how they fixed it. I am trying to get good pictures of the front of the engine bay. I think that they unbent the radiator support bracket and then put the new pieces on. I can't take pictures of what my car looks like until tomorrow because I work until 5 and then its dark. I plan on taking a good picture tomorrow at work, but until then could somone post a picture showing this bracket?

bump...anyone have a good picture similar to the one I have? I found a lot of engine bay pics in the search, but nothing close up like this.

is that the end result of warranty work? if it is, you should not settle with that.

if you need a similiar image, search for grille installs

I could take it back to the body shop and have them do it over..I just dont have the time to do it nor do I want to wait another 2 weeks to get it back. If I cannot fix it on my own then I will, but until then I will keep searching for pics. I also need to get a close up of the gap between the hood and grill/headlights. I think that after I fix that and re-detail my engine then I will be fine. Hopefully Sat.

Well then here's a couple close-ups of the latch.

Thanks to everyone for the pics. From looking at the closeups of the latch I don't know how I will be able to adjust it enough. Maybe I am wrong, but it looks pretty fixed and I won't be able to move it up at all.

Am I understanding this right? This is "body shop" work? No Way!! WTF!! That radiator? They didn't even trim the hose!! The brackets?? You're kidding me.....I would drive a train through the shop!!!

Edit: This is pre-body shop right? It has to be.

It has to be. In his first post he says he would try to get good pics of the front of his car. Secondly, you wouldn't receive your car back from a body shop with snow in the engine bay. At least I hope not.

Im sorry I was kinda vauge. The picture that I have is of the car right after the accident. I have not got a chance to take a picture now that I have it back from the body shop. Its dark before I get out of work at 5 and I didn't drive the car today because I wanted to leave it in the garage because it rained today. I am going to try to fix it up and clean it really well on Sat. morning and I will take more pics.

lol, yeah i thought so too but you never know with shady places these days....maybe they were supposed to close the hood before he saw underneath it....and hope he signed a waiver before he drove it away(ughdance)

LOL....it would just suck to say "I got my car back from the body shop" and post that pic.....my fault

Can anyone tell me what this is? The little white clip came off mine and the body shop didn't catch it while they were fixing my car.

yeah I really have no clue what it is, but if you just get that black wire with the white stripe connected to it you should be set.

Alright, I took the car into the shop today for them to take a look at it. The fixed the loose wire. Turns out it has something to do with the recirculation of emmisions and pumping through the charcol filter and what not. It must have just been a ground wire or something. They also fixed the gaps that were messed up on the hood. Took about 20 minutes but came out looking really nice.
