Any Interest?

I am new to the MSP scene but I have unfortunate news. I just bought a 03 mica MSP with a Mental Addiction build, GT28, FMIC, and other such goodies. Engine has less than 300 miles on it and the chasis has around 21,800. I bit off more than I could chew, especially with insurance. I am the second owner and the original just left for over seas with the army. I need to know if any body out there is interested? Located in Ga.

Wassup man? Why oh why would you ditch that work of art so hastily, lol? It's not even broken in and if it only has 300 miles, it should not have been really driven anywhere close to its potential yet. Really though, you should check with Progressive. I think that they have the MSP listed as a trim model for a regular Protege. Of course you can't tell them that it has a built engine and big turbo. But, I think mine is like 125 a month. Granted I'm 30, however, I have a pretty long driving record with a s*** ton of speeding tickets and a DUI.

What did you pay for the car? Unless you got a great deal and are willing to pass that deal on, you may have problems finding a buyer. What price are you asking? I am in the middle of pretty much the same build on a yella 03.5, MAM block, GT28rs, FMIC, 3" Vibrant exhaust, Unichip, etc, etc. Maybe I'll buy the car and have 2 built MSPs, LOL.

I paid 16,500 and that is all I want. I' ve got Unichip and a Greddy boost control that have not been installed. With labor n parts the mods total around 11,500. The 1st owner is sending a full book of domumentation/ reciepts. The car is in great shape, I just jumped the gun without doing 100% of my research. I really do not want to get rid of it, but I cannot handle the $200+ insurance(not the cleanest driving record) .

Even if you may not be interested, spread the word.

Definitely check around on insurance. I finally got mine down to less than $100 a month with Nationwide.

Post some pics... Who's car was it? Must have been a forum member if it has those mods. If he was in GA, I'm sure he came to some of the Mazda meets (that I never make it to, lol) and met Velocifero, Rogue and some of the other guys. I'm just curious.
Oh yeah, what is controlling fuel and/or timing in the car right now if the Unichip is still in the box? Built motor, FMIC and GT28 on stock ECU?

Car hasport and polished head, GT28RS turbo upgrade, Greddy FMIC, Thermal 3"catback exhaust with a GHL 3" down Pipe. I have 5 gauges... AEM
wideband, Autometer phantom EGT,BOOST,Narrow Band and Elec Oil Pressure,
the Sending unit on the Oil pressure gauge went out so the gauge works
but needs a new sending unit. I have poly Urethane Motor mounts, so the
ride is a little bit rougher than stock, also car has an ACT stage 3
clutch. Mazdapseed Racing Shift knob and the car interior is stock. car
has a Sony CD head unit with Pioneer component speakers, Racing hart
17's and new Fuzion ZRI *aka Bridgestone Potenza's*. An HKS turbo timer is currently installed but because engine break-in is still going on It is running stock boost and I haven't taken it over 3800-4000 rpm.

Mazdaspeed6 was the orginal owner and invest his time/ money in the vehicle. He just left for a 12 month sevice with the army. Alabama is where he is from and where all the work was done.

Why don't you part out all of the bolt on mods and then bring your car payments down, and that way insurance won't seem so bad. Just a thought.
