Team Moon Exhaust

I got my Team Moon exhaust at about 11:00 this morning so I went out side after letting my bolts soke in PB Penitranit all night long. The whole install from removing the stock exhaust to putting the new one up only took about an hour. Very straight foward, very easy, good fit, good looks, and a great sound. For the price I do not think it can be beat, the whole thing with shipping and everything ran about 320 or something around there. The only problem I had was my first time i didn't hang the tip far enough away from the bumper, and it melted a little bit, put the car back on the stands, about 2 minutes later it had a about 1 finger of clearance, doesnt touch any more. Charlie was a good guy to work with, check out his site... www.teammoonexhaust.com I have attached a few pictures for you guys to see.

So you like it huh? The sound is good, not buzzy and not too loud? How is the weight, much lighter than stock?

Nope, i love the sound VERY easy to drive around with, not too loud at all, deep sound. I'm not sure about weight, the UPS shipping weight came to 29.40 Lbs, i dont know what the stock exhaust weighs.

i dont know if thoes other pictures are working, so here they are again.

How far does it stick out the ass of the car??? Is this the best catback set up for our cars?

I wish they'd make a sedan version with a smaller tip. Its a good price, and the sound clips on their website sound great. Oh well, maybe soon. I emailed them once and they said they were planning a sedan version.

It does feel more responsive, it feels like it doesnt straign real hard to get up in the revs, i find my self shifting at 4000 sometimes as opposed to 3500. It does stick out a little bit, i wish it was further in, but it's not too bad IMO.

I would suggest you get the P5 version since it sticks out slightly on the P5. Should look good on the sedan.

i talked to them a few weeks ago about it. they said they are working on it. and should be out in a month or two. I wish all the exhaust for our cars had smaller tips. but atleast this one sounds good

it doesn't have a huge backpressure sound does it? thats what I hated about the mazda speed one

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But how far? If its 2 inches, it'll be perfect. Otherwise it won't be quite enough to look right :). Still, I really don't like the size of the tip.

I think the stock RB tip is the perfect size. I'd like it better if it were round, but it still looks good. I wonder how much it would be to get a different tip welded onto the TeamMoon when it comes out. We should really suggest a smaller tip to them.

In fact, I just did :). Said the consensus here is that the tip is too big and it would be nice to have the option of a smaller tip. We shall see.
