Look at what the mail man brought :D

A word of caution....apply the Klasse SG VERY thin. And make sure you have some high quality MF towels to work with.

Thank you Mr Detailer. I will do my best. But you were actually the one who influenced me.

I actually have a question for you. Is it ok to use a bonnet over the blue pad that came with the kit to buff off Klasse SG, or not? Or should i specifically use MF towels, and do it by hand?
And also what is best way to apply thinner coats?

Thank you :)

Yeah you could use a MF bonnet to buff off the SG. I prefer to do all product removal by hand, just for the satisfaction of revealing the slick, glossy finish underneath. :D

Applying thinner coats is easier with a dampened pad, so do that first. And when you're applying, just make sure you can barely see a haze on the car. That's all the sealant you need. If you apply it thin like that, you'll save a lot of product, get the same results, and not have a hard time buffing the SG off. Lots of people have complained about SG's stubborn nature when applied too thick, so be forewarned.

After a hard day of work.

Mr Detailer, Klasse SG is kind of a pain, and i have used it before. The biggest pain was to try and dispense a small ammound of it on the pad, as it is too liquid. other than that things went more or less smoothely. I think i need stronger polish than sonus sfx-2 to fix some of the blemishes, but overall i am satisfied.
On to the pics

looks like almost 12 hrs unless you took a break...

I did take a break, but i still can not count.... I don't know how i got an "A" in organic chemistry.... oh well

Mr Detailer, i will try, it's just been busy couple of days....

I keep loving Klasse products more every time I use them. Klasse SG looks so awesome on my wife's Pewter Pearl CR-V. Here's a tip I use: If you get some stubborn SG that doesn't want to come off, mist some quick detailer on your microfiber and then wipe down. Should do the trick. Our CR-V is now wearing SG x 2, and Duragloss Aquawax on top.

i didn't want to create an all new thread, but i was wondering what is the best way to clean detailing towels and polishing pads, besides a special (expensive) solution?

Wash all your microfiber things in one load. Do not combine them with cotton products. If you only have a few things, I'd wash them by hand. I use Woolite to wash my good MF products in the washing machine, and regular detergent to wash my other MF products. My very high-end MF products usually get Pinnacle Micro Restorer (specialty detergent for microfiber).

Wash foam pads by hand in a bucket of Dawn and warm water. Let them soak for a few minutes, and then massage any product out of the foam. Once the product is all out of the foam, rinse it very well under the faucet, frequently soaking up water and squeezing it out.

You are awesome, you know that? :D
