I still check out the forums and even help people from time to time, but now-a-days I am on the Subaru and Legacy forums. I know it is not a Mazda, but enjoy some pics and a little photoshopping on the attached wallpaper I made.

Right now I am bone stock with Stage I Cobb tuning, stage I requires no mods, just provides a better AFR curve. I just dynoed for a baseline before I go stage II (downpipe). I hit 220 AWHP on a Mustang dyno which factors in load and weather conditions. I think general concensus is that it is pretty close to accurate or slightly low.... just depends on the car. This means I am about 265 HP crank, doing the math. I have Tein H-Tech springs to put on the car, and I am making a custom grill soon.

Just adding a downpipe and uploading a new tune (stg. II) will put me at 245 AWHP, ~300 Hp crank. (my stg. II buddy dynoed with me). I can swing the back end out on dry roads with the Potenzas... loads of torque... and that is without any mods :) . (Well, that and the Potenzas suck)

EDIT: Here is my dyno - stock vs. Stage I tuning @ 92 oct.
215 AWHP
245 AWTQ

Boost is in light blue, AFR is in green.

Here is my buddy's Stage II dyno @ 93 oct, along with my dynos to show the increases. This setup is only about $500 away :). Good gains for that price.

My car at the Dyno (not me driving)

Attached is a wallpaper I made out of one of the shots. I greyscaled the image except for the headlights and foglights. I modified their slogan: Think. Feel. Drive.

I see you have grown up on us. Hows it feel to go from a kids car to a grown ups. Looks nice.

Looks great! I've always loved Subies. If I'm ever in the area, you'll have to take me for a spin. Actually, correction: Let me drive it. :D

And I LOVE the 'slogan'. I'm sure it's pretty accurate too.

Oh and before people ask....
I am running ~ 14psi on Stage I. With Stage II, it will be about 17 or 18psi. Surprizingly, the HP curve does not trail off that bad in the upper RPM range at 17psi ... even with the small turbo. It holds power the whole way. For those who don't know the GT has the same engine as the STi with a different intake mani, intercooler, and turbo. Everything else is pretty much the same. With a downpipe and tune I should run door to door with the STi. I can't wait!

Ok I'm done. Don't hate me like Matthew, I won't be in your hair much.

I have not grown up, just realized I like a more luxurious car for everyday driving and long trips. I am still a kid and a mod freak !

MyZmZm, if you are ever in my area we can take it out for sure... but I am driving!

thanks for the support everyone.Though the car costs a lot more than an MSP, I think it is worth it. They are very expensive new, but I got a great deal on an 05.
