I'd recomend wiring your radar behind the dash to get rid of that ugly power wire. I wired mine directly to the acc. wire on the car.

that monitor is good but its also a radio without a CD PLAYER... what kind of company makes a RADIO nowadays with NO CD PLAYER... dont get me wrong... i like the monitor... i've installed it many cars but i just dont get the logic behind having no cd player...

shoot- i never asked my friend (he put the tv in while i was at work, and i wired it all and drilled the dvd into place). I bet he didn't use anything-- thats his style lol. i could rip it apart and check, but he's on spring break now. i'll find out soon enough.

he didn't mention any trouble ... which makes me think that it wasnt a problem... hmm

at the moment, my tv is mounted on top, and the two trim pieces of the kenwood and the sony are rattling against each other. I'll ahve to fix that, its annoying as hell otherwise i LIKE it!
