I just installed a set of Progress Suspension springs on my P5, lowers the car 1.5" all around. It looks absolutely perfect. About 1 1/2 finger's width of wheel gap up front, 1 finger in the back. In other words, very little visible gap, and no "tucked" look.
But something during the installation REALLY concerned me: after switching the rear springs and reinstalling the spring perch, etc., on the assembly, the springs were not squeezing tightly against their perches at the top. In fact, after reinstalling the whole assembly back into the wheel well, if you compressed the spring with your fingers, you could slightly dislodge it from the perch. Is this normal with lowering springs? No such concerns with the front springs; those were tight.
Of course, with the car back on the ground, the springs are firmly locked in... but if one were to, say, go airborne, couldn't that bring the springs out of their perches? Hope I'm not worried for nothing!
