Mounted my Rota Track-R rims!

kinda confused on why you spent the bones for just 16s?
Cause 16s look pimp. Big wheels are soo not cool (kidding)
I don't know i thing 16's look good on our cars.

those wheels look superb. It gives it a more rally type of look. And with that weight you can go wrong. Il give them a 10 out of 10.

So any chances to do wild happy fun crazy driving to see if they rub? Reason I'm asking is I'm looking at getting some 17x7 wheels at 40mm offset as well, but I'm worried about rubbing and them sticking out like a sore thumb... Could you maybe get a couple dead-on rear and front shots of the car? Interested to see how they compare to stock...

Thanks!

no they wont rub there was anothere thread that the guy had 17x7.5 and 42 offset and he said that there wasnt any rubbing

17's are overrated. I do mostly back road driving and I wasn't ready for the harsh ride they provide. 16s or even 15s would be the performance route but I don't plan on Auto-Xing or anything in the near future. I just like the comfort and look of a smaller wheel with more rubber. As far as spending my bones...they were only $550.

The picture below (which was posted on the first page) is about a clear a shot you will get of the offset. You can see that the rim is almost perfectly lined up with the quarter panel above it. A wider tire will most likely rub with this offset. If you go with 17x7 I don't think a 195 tire is an option. You would most likely want to go with at least a 205 and also a very low profile (30 or 35) so you don't have to roll the fenders. Another option is to not lower your car...but we all know that looks dumb.

don't get me wrong bro I like ur car but Im not feeling the track r on the p5's maybe its just me but the GT-3 looks way better but not for the p5 either. I guess because 3 of you guys that have these rims (gt-3,track r) have their car sitting high still unlike the hondas w/ these rims have their cars slammed to the ground.

A car that low is not something you'd want to drive every day...at least not in new england. I wouldn't even be able to pull out of a gas station if my car was as low as the bottom picture. Plus, I don't see how an inch or two could change your opinion of the wheels.

I'll admit, I liked the GT-3 a little better but I couldn't get it w/o waiting until the end of the summer. I needed wheels/tires sooner than that (since I will be taking them off in the fall when the weather goes fowl).

men they look great on your car also on those civics but they are nice i like them

Wow! These Track-R rocks on your car!

In my own opinion, the GT3 and the Track-R are by far the most beautifull Rota's you can put on a BJ.
